About Keyboard Test Tool
How it works
This keyboard test tool helps you verify that all keys on your keyboard are functioning correctly. The process works as follows:
- Press any key on your keyboard to test it
- The corresponding key on the virtual keyboard will highlight
- Keys that have been pressed will remain highlighted in a different color
- This allows you to easily identify any non-functioning keys

Troubleshooting
Keys not registering: Some special keys may be captured by your browser or operating system. Try disabling browser shortcuts.

Usage tips
- Test both left and right Shift, Control, Alt, and Meta keys because they have distinct physical codes.
- Change the operating-system keyboard layout when printed labels and typed characters disagree.
- Disable browser extensions or remapping software temporarily when results are inconsistent.
