Capture High-Quality Website Screenshots Online

The Website Screenshot Generator lets you capture pixel-perfect snapshots of any public webpage across multiple device viewports and screen resolutions.

Whether you need full-length page captures for design reviews, mobile viewport previews for QA testing, or marketing mockups for presentations, this tool renders websites accurately without requiring browser extensions.

Snapshots can be copied directly to your clipboard for instant sharing or downloaded in PNG and JPEG formats with custom delay and resolution options.

Key features

  • Multi-Device Viewport Presets Quickly switch between standard Desktop (1920x1080), Tablet (768x1024), and Mobile (375x812) viewports, or enter custom dimensions.
  • Full-Page and Viewport Capture Choose between capturing only the above-the-fold screen or scrolling through the entire webpage to grab complete long-form landing pages.
  • Configurable Render Delay Specify a delay of up to 5 seconds before capturing, allowing client-side scripts, lazy-loaded images, web fonts, and animations to settle.
  • Direct Clipboard Copy & Download Copy the raw image directly to your clipboard to paste into Figma, Slack, Word, or Photoshop, or download with descriptive file naming.

How to capture a website screenshot

Follow these steps to generate and download high-resolution screenshots of any website.

  1. Enter Target Website URL Paste or type the website address (such as example.com or https://yourdomain.com) into the URL field.
  2. Select Device and Capture Mode Choose Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile preset, and toggle Full Page capture if you want to capture the entire scrolled page.
  3. Adjust Optional Render Delay Set a delay of 1 to 5 seconds if the target website relies on heavy animations, interactive embeds, or lazy loading.
  4. Generate and Inspect Snapshot Click "Capture Screenshot". The rendered preview will appear inside the interactive mockup window along with resolution and file details.
  5. Download or Copy Image Click "Download" to save the PNG/JPEG file to your computer or "Copy Image" to paste directly into your workflow.

Usage tips

  • For websites with cookie banners, sticky headers, or splash popups, full-page screenshots will capture the page as initially rendered.
  • Use the Mobile preset with a 2-second delay to ensure responsive layouts and hamburger navigation menus adjust correctly.
  • When testing web design deliverables, toggle the background preview between Light, Dark, and Transparent to verify transparency.

Frequently asked questions

No. The capture engine only accesses publicly reachable web addresses. Websites behind authentication walls, internal intranets, or CAPTCHA barriers cannot be rendered.
Viewport capture snaps only what a user sees immediately upon opening the page (above the fold). Full Page capture scrolls through the entire document height to generate a complete top-to-bottom snapshot.
Websites that block automated user-agents or load geographical-specific fonts might fall back to standard system typography. Adding a 2-3 second delay usually resolves dynamic font loading.
No permanent copies are retained. The screenshot is rendered on-demand, processed into a secure data URI for your session, and discarded.
You can choose between high-fidelity lossless PNG for sharp UI graphics and text, or compressed JPEG for smaller file sizes.
